LAND & ANIMALS

We have 33 secluded acres, fronted on Loomis Lake, which abounds with life, both wild and domestic.

You’ll meet our friendly, very well trained German Shepherds. They would love to show you the farm.

  • Misha, the grand dame
  • Aro, the love muffin
  • Zara, bred by the Monks of New Skete, is always looking for someone to play with
  • Lena, our extremely friendly, exuberant puppy

    Our Parelli trained Arabians:

  • Narnia, the grand dame, who is often at liberty on the farm grounds
  • Snickers, her very laid back son
  • Felicia, the copper beauty of the farm

You are welcome to come watch us milk our cows, (Mindy and Chloe), play with Bridgett the calf, collect duck eggs and feed carrots to the horses.

Barn swallows live and produce their young in the rafters of our barn. There's a delightful, daily show of their antics.

And what would a barn be without a barn cat or four?

When you’re hanging out, particularly in the mornings or evenings, you might see eagles (you can see their nest from the kitchen window!), and osprey, wild ducks and swans. If all is quiet, you'll see deer, and depending on the time of year, fawns.
